It’s never too early

Fantasizing about a career as a newscaster or sportscaster can start at any age.  In fact, a tenth grader at a suburban Philadelphia high school is drawing notice for his sportscasts—and he’s been thinking about the business since he was in elementary school!

Gavin Lichtenstein is already fully entrenched.  He’s broadcasting sporting events and writing for the school newspaper, two “must-do’s” for any college student wishing to hone his or her skills as a TV or radio sportscaster.

Gavin is getting a head start, honing his skills while the competition is, well, just doing things that teenagers “normally do.”
